Real Sociedad forward Mikel Oyersabal has been dropped from the Spanish national football team after being positive in the Covid-19 test. Villarreal forward Gerard Moreno has been named in the squad for the UEFA Nations League matches against Germany and Ukraine.
Oyersabal, 23, said on Sunday that he had contracted the coronavirus. He is currently in self-isolation at home.
Returning to the national team, Moreno spent the last season very well for the club.
The 26-year-old forward, who made his national team debut last year, has scored 18 goals in the 2019-20 La Liga.
Spain, who failed to reach the last four in the opening round of the League of Nations, will play Germany on September 3 and Ukraine at home on September 6.
