Robert Lewandowski, who played a key role in Bayern Munich's treble win, has been named Germany's Footballer of the Year.
The Bayern Munich star striker has been voted the best by journalists in the organization organized by Kicker magazine. Lewandowski received 26 votes. Thomas Mueller came in second with 54 votes, followed by Joshua Kimich with 49 votes.
Last season, Lewandowski was the top scorer in the Bundesliga (34 goals), the German Cup (six goals) and the Champions League (15 goals). He scored 55 goals in 47 matches in all competitions.
Hans Flick, who won the Bundesliga, German Cup and Champions League with Bayern, won the Coach of the Year award.
