Three PSG players are infected with coronavirus. Neymar is one of them, according to various media reports.
League One champions PSG said in a statement on Wednesday that three players on the team were positive for coronavirus.
Citing sources close to Neymar, ESPN reported that his Covid-19 was positive. The French daily Lequipe and the Spanish newspaper ASO reported the same thing.
According to media reports last Monday, the Covid-19 report of Anhel Di Maria and Leandro Pardes is positive. Neymar, Ander Errera, Mauro Icardi and Kyler Navas went on holiday to the Spanish island of Ibiza with the two Argentine midfielders.
The PSG statement did not name the victims. However, they have been reported to be in isolation.
PSG will start its mission to retain the league crown with the match against Lance on September 10. However, the match could be postponed if the Covid-19 report of some other players comes back positive.
The League One authorities have already decided to postpone the match if the results of the Covid-19 test of more than four players in a team are positive.
